As with any event where you are attempting to gather many people in the one place at the one time, there will unfortunately be people who would love to be there but for one reason or another cannot make it.

This page is dedicated to the individuals who cannot take part in the 'Race Against Time 2009' but who have taken it upon themselves to still raise money on behalf of our nominated charities.

We would also like to mention organisations and individuals who have raised money through various other activities, which will ultimately assist us in reaching our target of £20,000.

Holly and everyone connected with 'The Race Against Time 2009' would like to salute the following people and organisations:-

Gavin Wilson - Gavin is running the Flora London Marathon in aid of the Meningitis Trust.

Steven Ireland - Steven is running the Rome Marathon and Edinburgh Marathon in aid of the RHSC Edinburgh. Steven will also be taking part in the 'Race Against Time 2009'. Steven raised £1016 for the fund by completing the Rome marathon. WELL DONE STEVEN!

Emmie Lee Paton. Emmie's department at HBOS in Rosyth had a Cake and Candy day which raised £90 for the RHSC Edinburgh and a Tombola which raised £110 for the CDC in High Valleyfield.

Little Acorns Nursery Dunfermline. £103.00 donation from their Open Day.

Inner Wheel Club of Dunfermline. £100.00 donation.

First ScotRail Traincrew, SQUIRE and Perfomance Managers. Two peaks challenge. Climb of Ben Lomond and Ben Nevis. 50% of all funds raised to be donated to the Race Against Time 2009 fund.
