The Event: Holly's Fundraiser Race Night & Disco
The Date: Saturday, 27th June 2009
The Venue: The Kingdom Suite, Dunfermline Football Club
The Time: 7.30pm
To (hopefully) celebrate a successful run of the West Highland Way, and as a way to raise even more money, we are holding a Race Night & Disco for Holly's Fundraiser event. The Race Night will consist of a Silent Auction with a chance to own a horse in the hope of winning a fantastic prize, and general bidding on the night. There will also be a raffle with more amazing prizes up for grabs. There will be a buffet provided on the night, and after the Races you can get your dancing shoes on and boogy the night away....
A huge Thank You to all sponsors of prizes - we couldn't have done this without you!
All details of the Races & prizes are as follows:
Rules
1. Attendance is not required at Race Night to participate in the auction
2. To own a horse for a race your bid must be 1 of the 8 highest for that race.
3. If your bid is NOT 1 of the 8 highest you do NOT have to pay....unless you want to!!
4. To place a bid: include your bid, the race number, your chosen horse name, your own name. You can either email to hollyracenight@googlemail.com or text to 07833 517901.
5. No restrictions on the amount of races you can bid on. You can bid on all 8 races.
6. Successful bidders will be randomly allocated a number in the race. The Owner’s Horse Name will then be applied to that horse number.
7. Prizes only awarded to WINNER, RUNNER-UP & 3rd PLACE for each of the 8 races.
8. Bidding closes Fri, 12th June @ 8pm
9. Winning bids will be notified to Horse Owners via text or email by Sat, 13th June @ 3pm.
10. Full payment to be received by Thur, 18th June @ 8pm to qualify for the race. If payment is not received, the horse will be given to the next highest bidder.
11. Do not disclose your bid to other Silent Auction participants. There will only be 1 person collecting in the bids – Gill Ireland (who is not allowed to participate in the race night).
12. All proceeds will be split between the 3 nominated charities. Details can be found at www.raceagainsttime2009.co.uk
